My big concern when i built up the Chute was the build it sturdy but not to over build it more than nessecary. It still comes in 1 lb. lighter than my friends Minuteman does. Not sure how besides frame material maybe. He runs a DJ 1 and an Evil guide with the same wheel combo 24" rear,26" front as i do.The only diiferance is that he has a Work Force stem on his mostly and i have the Dirt.;)
Thanks. It's a 6" Junior T QR20 ('02), the wheels are 24/26" Doubletracks. Like this, the bike isn't the greatest street performer, but it can still do it. I take it down the mountain more often, so it's slacker than most.

That's about the same here. Not much for the street but when it comes to the Mts. and the drops that were the fun kicks in.If i can do it on a DS bike why not a HT.I usally will do it on the HT before the FS bike.Go figuare:confused:

wish i could help ya out, but i just got that price by luck. a while back pinkbike had a draw for a brand new pink pornking frame. some guy won it and was trying to sell it for around $800 Can. didn't have any luck at that price so he put an ad up for $450...i came across it and jumped on it. i thought it was a joke at first, but figure i'd ask if he was serious just in case...and well, now its mine

what's even better is i only spent about $220 US on parts (fork, headset, seatpost) the rest of the components i got from another bike i bought for cheap and stripped for parts..sold the frame and fork and some other parts from it for almost what i paid for the complete bike :D

so what's that, like $500 US for a complete pornking w/ dual 8" Hayes, z-3 qr20, Alex DX-32's raceface prodigy Dh cranks....:D:D:D

Sweet bike there:thumb:It takes alot of guy to ride a pink bike.Remember the days(still today)that the pink bikes were for the girls and if it didn't have a top tube there was no way that you were going to ride it:D
Either way it's still a nice ride there:thumb:

hahahahhaaaa, that bruiser on the last page is my brothers. My friends steal his bike seat every day during lunch and carry it around with them to class, and eventually my brother notices. Hahaha, good times.

I like it a lot. I still haven't gotten new springs but I have the preload all the way up so it works ok. I might end up selling my mt bike soon to pay off a traffic ticket but I plan on keeping the fork. Me likey.
