Yup. Don't see a patent sticker on it anywhere, so I'm not sure if they went through DW, Trek or just said fuck it let our legal dept work it out.did they just DW the rear brake mount?
I would like to subscribe to the contents of the newsletter behind your bikeView attachment 134074 Went back and forth between this, a Tues and a Furious. Couldn’t pass up the deal on this though. Swapped out the Boxxer RC for the Foxzocchi. Putting on some Bontrager G5’s, may swap out the bars and stem for something a little more stout. Also going to put the Guide RSC levers on the Guide RE’s that came on it. Going to see how I get along with the Super Deluxe R.
As far as i know, the Split Pivot patent isn´t defined by having the axle go through the chainstay/seatstay bearing. Sounds strange, but apparently that´s how Trek gets away with their ABP system.
So as long as you don´t copy the exact layout, you´re good.
What you get? Can’t see the model.Woo. Banshee number three...
It's a Rune frame. Have yet to test it out...What you get? Can’t see the model.
Who cares! What size fork is on that clash?
I've had two split pivot bikes, a bunch of horst bikes, and a few single pivots as well as several other types (Maestro, VPP, etc). While there have been some similarities between the split pivot, horst and single pivots, the main pivot location seems to make a much bigger difference than which suspension type it is between those three.that clash looks sick
and also very similar to my metal capra
I've never ridden a split pivot; I assume it's pretty close to horst.
Older Nikon 50 f/1.4 with some optical abberation from the lens itself, and some vignetting in Lightroom.Who cares!
Which filter did he use for the photo?
At what length are you using the fork with your Pole Taival? I'm planning to buy one of those frames and my current fork is running 150mm and I'm wondering if I should drop it to 140mm when it goes to service soon.I picked this frame up because they are cheap and I wanted a winter beater with the same geo I am accustomed to. I robbed all the parts from my evolink 140. So far I am loving it, I don't know how to jump it yet (hardtail hater) but it's damn fast and makes me wonder if I even need suspension for non lift assist riding.
Why are they the only pedal?I didn't think so until I got a set of Burgtec Ti's, now I know the only pedal.
What fork are you getting?Toys, I set out to get a better fork and got- Archer D1X, Candy Ray handlebrah, TMAC pedals, 11spd sunrace cassette, Profile Helm stem, grips, super Enduro Tune carbon bottle cage, no fork.
Really happy with most of my choices and the bike just fucking rocks now, biggest winner was the handlebar, I was too fat for the Tune one before it and the shape sucked.

Now for some mini reviews of Tune gear.
Stem alignermajig doesn't fit my stem and came with flat batteries, I thought it was a stupid product and had to have one, now I guess I'll have to buy a cat to make use of the lazer.

Tune MTB bottle cage is supposed to be a pretty magical thing, and that it is, first ejecto bottleo had it land in front of my rear wheel mid corner, next time it jumped out in a water crossing and splashed me, bastard thing! It looks pretty though and I think Udi could really feel the weight saving over the one it replaced.

Tune Tubeless goo, it looks like a milk and quinoa mix, can't seal the leak around the valve stem so I doubt it could seal a hole in a tire. I'll give it a second go, it may be user error as Cushcore does limit sealant to the valve but Tyre Juice and even Orange Seal has worked in the past.

I'll probably just end up with a used 36 but I like the look of the new Mezzer, have had a soft spot for Manitou since my Black fork way back when. What fork are you getting?
Just scored a brand new Fox Transfer 175mm post for $199. Shipped. That’s less than EP.
Rocky Mountain ETSXC meets high pivot/idler? I like it!#never go full enduro
