Bob does come along when I ride, except when climbing in the granny gear. The pivot is located such that (when in granny gear) chain tension helps to eliminates bob. This past year I gained a fair amount of strength and was able to climb more in my middle ring, and did noticed more bob. This next year I plan on upgrading the shock to either the 5th Element Air, or the new Fox Float RL Propedal.

Big Fat Otto seems to like it
Dude. Why is the pussy sniffing the pedals?!?!?

For the record I have a '01 NRS Team.......

How much does that carbon beauty weigh?

She's about 25lbs as she sits now, but a coworker of mine got his XL down to 23.5lbs with heavy Time Alium pedals, so I can drop probably 2 lbs off of mine if I wanted to spend the bling.
But I won't, it rides fine now. I'd love to run v-brakes, but can't, as it's a disc-only frame, so I'm content with it...

I'm really starting to appreciate Giant's NRS design. It's fantastic how efficient it is as a climber. One of my serious-into-mtbiking buddies commented on a recent trip to Fruita, "Does that thing have a lockout on the rear shock?" - I took that as a good sign. :)

First Post! Second attempt. Hello all! Well here's my christmas present to myself. Yes it's locked to the bike stand inside my house, I have roommates and I'm paranoid.
