haha yes...the drop down menu on Vital got me.

The guide is really for the bash and looks. You don't need a guide for chain retention with XX1. They really did their homework on that front. Even by hand, with the Type2 RD engaged, it is hard to physically push the chain off.

Review? Well I work for them, so I can't be unbiased. I have been testing it from the beginning, and have to say that I quite like it. It is a good evolution of the 2012 and older Altitude platform that combines all of our latest tech and features. Who wouldn't like a carbon, aggressive trail bike? ;)

Already put the front brake back and Easton Havoc 2012 wheels on it, new paint is coming soon. :)
Next would probably be the crankset. Been thinking about the SixC DH crankset. :)

Build up my 2013 Covert 29er frame on Saturday. Still have to trim the reverb line down and throw the 2.4 Ardent and Nobby Nic on but pretty happy with it. Came in at 13.8kg in XL

Just built this up, no real rides on it yet. Swapping stems out next week and the crank will probably go soon too.

My 2013 Trail bike. Diamondback Mason HT. I swapped a few parts right off the bat, still waiting for cranks, pedals, tires and brakes to swap.

Second Makulu standing in the garage, feeling the black and red more than the black and white!
