The shear size of these parts is just amazing when your standing next to them, you can only imagine what kind of noise there had to have been when these engine rooms were running at full power. Looking at all the control stations as well just puts its into perspective as to how well in tune every crew member had to be to keep something from going seriously wrong.

It's not a bumblebee, it's Hemaris diffinis, a bumblebee moth.
