I grew up in florida, the lightning strike capital of the world. Lightning doesn't scare me. What it does on the ground here does. And that's ignition in that photo. I've heard 3 fire engines pass by my house since.

that was one of about 30 that a neighbor happened to catch with a camera

There's some bush regen people coming in a couple of weeks and I'm not allowed to use a chainsaw, so I have to get in early and hide stuff.
