Yup as blackholio said they are dymags and I did a bit of reading up on the rim that broke and it said the owner did~ 60 track days some on full slicks with some impacts and a crack spread from a stamp in the casting. Even though the wheels were used hard and not inspected as expected Dymag paid for vehicle repairs and gave the owner a new set of wheels. That is what the internet said so it could be a complete load of ****!

I still think a full carbon wheel is better than some magnesium spoke bonded to a carbon rim, however the way those spokes are sitting there it looks as if something does penetrate through the rim.

My friends brother used to be the us arm of dymag. HE ran a set of a GT2 and had a big crash at willow (i think) car got proper ****ed. One rim took alot of damage but still survived. The rim that took the wall impact survived even when the carbon rotor somehow blew up.
