I <3 the baroque period.
I like American Baroque examples using wood and carpentry. To qualify it is not a actual architectural style. But one I have made up and use to decribe post Victorian German Architecture here in North America during the 1890's.

I'm a fan of early romanesque architecture. there's something about the proportions that speaks to me. and the fact they hadn't fully mastered the math yet, so it was all intuitive.
