@maddog17 is the man. Planning to do some back country skiing this year so I threw a couple of inexpensive essentials on my wish list. He got me an avalanche probe and Voile straps.
I still have to take the AIARE avy course, tools are useless if you don't know what to do with it, but it's a piece of kit to add to my pack when I'm ready.

I was not sure how to swing it this time since this a special elf but I think I cracked it tonight. All sense will be satisfied with the gifts.

All the items I ordered for my elf are in. Time to put the finishing touches on it and get this thing underway.
Still waiting for an enderpo beer cozy to arrive... then everything will be individually wrapped with custom wrapping paper special ordered to reflect the awesomeness of my elf. Thats how much I care, 99 percent isnt how I roll.

Part of my elf's gift will arrive to him before the rest. Supposedly weeks backordered and it was sent today. I talked to the shipping guy and told him if they came in early to let me know, so it could be sent to me... ugh.
Im still waiting for a beer cozy but my biggest issue is finding tape and scissors. I know they exist, I just cant fimd them. The last time I saw scissors they had orange handles... should not be that hard to find.
I got my goodies today. My sneaky SS had noticed my love for hot sauce and included that too and a nice apron. Thanks Jim!
Hot sauce has been tested with some left over chicken, hummus and a wrap. A lot of flavor and a nice habanero kick to it. Rinsed down with a Coney Island Mermaid Plisner.

Had to repack because Canada. Apparently USPS large flat rate is almost $60, so fit into a smaller box and off to FedEx today. Managed to keep the theme though. I think my revised theme is actually better.
My plans got the proverbial monkeywrench thanks to a storm in New England less than 24 hours after we arrive. Plan B is in progress.
Is anyone sending tracking numbers? Hoping FedEx doesn't screw up my shipment.
