If it ain't an American on the top step I hope its Kerr. That would be incredible, so much talent, makes everything look so smooth and easy. Watching his vlog helmetcam this morning he made that track look like he has been practicing it in those conditions since he was 10! So composed.

maybe I’ve not been looking, but it does seem like something of a break out year for Kerr - despite it being several years in to his career. Has he ever qualified this well repeatedly through a season? Does seem he’s on a bit of a Rando/Reid habit of winning practice but struggling in finals. Would be sweet to see him on the podium.

Kerr has been around a long time, I remember when he was a privateer racing in a plain kit no sponsors no nameplate saying to myself how does this guy not have a factory ride? I think you are right about him having his best year. Gotta assume he"ll lay it all on the line tomorrow knowing he's right there?
I'd love to see him get a win or podium, wife and I were watching his practise vlog over dinner last night and we weren't sure what his highest previous WC race result was.
edit: looks like a 5th in 2017 and 2018 at World Cup level and 5th at World Champs in 2016 and 2020.

Kerr is really overdue for a podium or a win. Be good to see a good result for him.

there's no cell coverage in a huge swath of the region around snowshoe because of the greenbank radio telescope. the resort has local coverage, but only at&t. its a shitty setup.
