voice activated. FANCY! :fancy:

two questions, which trail is that? (if you can say)
what's all that shiny stuff pooled up on the trail in places. I don't see that on my trails.
Hehe. It’s called John Deer. GoPro 7 Silver is very adequate.

conundrum. i could built it up as a jump, leave as is, or cut it out.

jump? the go around will still occur, and get larger/wider anyhow.

leave as is? same deal. i and many other can go over with no trouble, but see above.

cut? it maintains the trail as it was before, without the added "bonus" of being gaper widened.

Cut it before someone builds up ramps of unsecured dead fall that will only move when you try to hop the log. Log hoping is a dying skill for sure and those sissy ramps make it easy for riders who can't get the front wheel off the ground and dangerous for those that can hop. Taken a few good diggers because of landing back wheel first on a loose branch.

Not gonna argue about whether I should wear a helmet for a few sidewalk wheelies, regardless of whether there are kids around. I probably should, but that doesn't mean I always will.

That said, their parents (one of whom took that pic) seem to think I'm setting a good example and generally being a good influence, on many levels, and I'll go with their opinion. Also, I personally think it's ok to have double standards for kids and adults.

Lastly, this, but sub "ride a wheelie" for "dunk a basketball": :D

How I spent from 6am to about 7:30 this am... Almost a full lap of footage... A bit much. The slow bits are at the start. Things speed up at the 6 minute mark...

It would be fun, provided I don’t wind up on some list back east if you explode on the trail.
I am quite Benevolent Lately. Nobody wants to blow me up as far as I know. As long as we are careful and do not cross the Border together we should be fine and not gather any scrutiny on my part....

Went full 27.5, honestly not much difference between 27 and 29, twitchier and lighter vs stability. It has fun geometry with super short chainstays so the wheel size mattered little.

Took my boys out for a ride in the newly-reopened forest today. looks like it's been raked, swept, blown, and filled in with new sand. But I'm not complaining caus' my little guy's on a loaner BMX with bald tires at the moment. And I got to ride with my boys again.

I was treated to some epic soil conditions on a trail network today after some rain yesterday. This was the best dirt I have ever experienced on this particular trail so I took full advantage!
