Most excellent ride in shorts today. Might have been the last one on regular bikes for the year in this forest, snow is moving in tomorrow. :(

Ran into a group of horses twice. Second time was near the second picture below. They post holed up a steep section and then proclaimed "huh that was tricky where to now" and almost started walking down the main dh trail. Buddy we were with told them to go right instead, to which they listened thankfully. Two minutes later one of the horses took off on it own like a loose dog... ugh horses.

Likewise, that really might be it for the year. Some “hikers” cheered me on in one section and then yelled, “is that an evil?!” I think they might not have only been hikers :)

Those green rocks remind me of Black Trail in Ellicottville from a few years ago...
It's ontario county park in south bristol ny great trail system camp sites cabins to rent pavilions bathrooms showers drinking fountains scattered throughout the west half of the park you can take a drink at the top of a trail and at the bottom no need for a backpack

Today...

It was a bit wet and the track was slow. In an effort to get some more speed the little guy figured out pumping on his own. He turned to me after the second run and said, “You have to pull going up, and then push going down!” Love that!
