Holy crap its hot and humid out. Good luck with that camping thing @Jozz . I'm guessing the doggo likes to cuddle up at night and provides extra heat as well? :busted:

Short ride today. Did not find the air cap, oh well.

I was considering doing this on my XC bike...till I got sick. I decided to ride out and have a look at the racing. Looks like it was a "proper" cross race. Also not sure I would have "enjoyed" that. We did get to see quite a few endos, including one that was a perfect forward flip w/tuck onto his back in a puddle. One or two made it all the way through the "main" bog, but most would stall and their bike would then be held in the mud by suction, was funny to see them have to yank their bike free.

Signs up today suggesting that riding on this wide gravel path is no longer allowed. I struggle to see the logic in that?!

I'd squat and smoke a cigarette and pinch off a few poops. That you can do.

Made the trek to what I believe are the steepest and longest *bike* descents in Ontario today. My brakes were smelling of fresh campfire. :brows: We usually shuttle this for extra fun, but I guess my friends are losers and have the wrong priorities. :D

On one trail, someone has put up ropes slung to trees to help people on snowshoes get up the slope. Twas a bright blue rope and caught me off guard - made it through, but it was a little unnerving to have a rope get that close to my bars.

Anyways, splendid day. The trails were even dry, except for on the flat bit at the bottom. Thank jeebus, because the ground there is pink clay and will send you to your back before you know what happened.

Some rox for @jdcamb

Got to watch a paragliding jump off the lookout at the top, that wad cool. Met another Australian shortly after who seemed concerned about me riding down the steep crap that they had just hiked up.
