It's that time of year, Yellowstone is open to bikes, so I did my usual 28+ mile RT and first "big" ride of the year
Still getting the N+1 dialed in but my legs felt better yesterday than "usual."
As always it's the ass that balks at early season rides the most...
Weather was spicy but the rain held off.

Discovered a bunch of jumps at the local spot. Will likely never hit them, but now I know they are there.

No, Floyd Hill trails just west of Evergreen.
My knowledge of riding around there is now 20 years out of date. Plus I was up in Longmont and didn't get down there very often anyhow. So I see photos like that and just assume it Must Be Palmer!

I need to get the lowers services on our GG's, still haven't ridden trails yet this year.
Mostly. Small amount of rideable snow and ice in the trees. I took the direct way up and missed the north facing stuff. DH is 100%.
Nobody rides Palmer anymore. Too crowded.
Props to that person in the platform shoes, stockings, long coat and fancy leather backpack.
Maybe it is the grown up version of the girl who was posting riding videos while wearing her self described fuck me boots.
Just commuting to the office in 8C. No technical riding gear required. Agreed though, respect to her.
What it like there? For the terrain, the map doesn't look thrilling.

A ride is a ride. But this one was one of the more crappy ones in recent memory. Buddy went OTB near the car and whacked both shins. We continued on, but then I started feeling like crap. Oh well.
I did find a rock that someone removed from the trail. I put it back home.

Trails near the mountain were not open. One long trail has potential, but it's a little blown out.
Then there's the "Enduro" hill, where you climb the same boring trail to go down machine built stuff for one minute. Not my cup of tea.
