I'd be happy to oblige you.

goodness knows Alex does build a very huckable 29er too...!!!I think you should have Alex at bcd build you up a sweet carbon fiber machine to ride the crap out of this year!![]()
MBC...
pardon me for my ignorance, do you have any interest in a SC superlight? I know of one VERY gently used that may go up for sale soon! The girl that rides it likes the ride, but it doesn't fit her quite right!
did you look at the Yeti 575?
Fenced I assume? Not everyone has that choice. Even then it can be troublesome. My mother kept her dogs outside in the back yard until she came home one day to find them peppered with BB's. One became quite aggressive towards people walking by after that and she could jump the fence if she put her mind to it.our two do just fine out doors.... we have a golden retriever and a little black yapper.
our backyard is 70' x 50'
the only solution in that case is for y'all to move out to the yard and leave the house to your dawg then.DUH!![]()

And I'm sure no one actually walks in your neck of the swamp.6' ceder privacy fence of course and there is no foot traffic because this is my back yard.
Well there's your problem.the 575 was my 2nd choice to the ML.
not without a pirogue anywayAnd I'm sure no one actually walks in your neck of the swamp.

Both super excellent bikes.MBC needs a 575 , IAB needs a Heckler
is Turner still working on a 29er Flux?hmmm...If IAB is considering an RFX, why not get a Flux or Spot? Colorado Cyclist has size small 06 5 Spot for $1299. Nice deal.

Not sure. I don't lurk the Turner board on MTBR enough to sort through all the lemming homer activity.is Turner still working on a 29er Flux?
funny man!MBC - if you go for the 575 I highly recommend the raw finish
Then a Bullit!A Heckler??
C'mon Splat - he needs more bike than a Heckler.

Mark...how do you mean more than a Heckler? It's a pretty burly frame. Speedgoat is blowing out the old style frames for $800.
with the explosion in 29er parts and offerings, stronger rims are are their way...n8, I don't think that the Salsa DD is up to the task of what a 5.5 is capable. Great concept though.
I'll bet he wants coil.I mean his Quasi-moto is a 6.5" travel frame in long travel mode with a horst link - I'd think he'd want something similar but with an air shock.
I'll bet he wants coil.
I want him to test the new bullit.
he'd drive over it with his car if I let him! LOL (he's kinda irritated)I think he should buy MBC's ML.
good point.Well if he keeps the Quasi - he would have a coil sprung bike and then he could get an air sprung bike for long days in the saddle and 24 hour events.
Some of the new "all mountain bikes" are amazing in the fact that they provide 5.5 to 6" of travel and stay in and around (and sometimes under) the 30 pound threshold!
my next bike will be a custom road bikeI think They Both need Seven's

If IAB were to go 29er - this is what I'd recommend for him:
The frame even glows in the dark!
