I'll bet he wants coil.
I want him to test the new bullit.
Coil huh? TBC has '06 Preston FR and Dirtbag frames on sale for $699!!

Never said they were infallible. I said I love them.spoken as a true kona homer?
True....my bad.Gotta check the sizes though - I think they'd all be too small for IAB.
I don't know how it works, but the Preston "feels like" way more than 4 inches of travel. The '07 is much better looking too.Coil huh? TBC has '06 Preston FR and Dirtbag frames on sale for $699!!
Magic!I don't know how it works, but the Preston "feels like" way more than 4 inches of travel. The '07 is much better looking too.
Magic!
Sultan is supposed to be more of an all mountain bike like the 5-Spot and not a speedy XC machine like the Flux. But I'd argue that my Flux does just fine at the all mountain stuff. The Sultan uses 5 spot tubing methinks.
Heck, you've ridden my bike (or is is MCGRP?) ... ya know it's true!More like bike company marketing guy magic.
Just kidding.
I'm sorry what were we talking about?
they provide 5.5 to 6" of travel and stay in and around (and sometimes under) the 30 pound threshold!

If you take one of these

Marketing hype?I was just busting balls about all the marketing hype out there in the bike industry.
where would you recommend keeping a baboon ?Dare I ask why there is a Baboon in your signature?
but we'll both be testing one at Pedros! The El Guapo is off the table.
The El Guapo is off the table.
If they were both going to ride Tituses (Titi?) then a pair of Turners would be sweet. An 07 RFX for IAB, which thanks to Turner Homers will be lighter and more trail worthy than prior verions, and a 5 Spot for MBC.
I've already e-mailed Titus and all the other mfg's that will be at Pedro's with your pics to keep a look out for the 2 of you.(assuming they don't have my pic in the trailer with a sign that says "DON'T LET HER DEMO ANYTHING!")
[MBC] No painted rear triangle, no care!!! [/MBC]Yeah I'd say an 07 RFX would get the job done pretty nicely.

FYI, the new RFX was delayed due to a bad ano batch, powdercoat is now the standard finish instead.I can vouch for the durability of Turners ano finish, although it will fade over time.
I want to replace the Quasi Moto, so I'm looking for something versatile that could handle lots of 4-6' hucks yet be light enough for the occasional 24 hour race. I want 6" travel.so what's yr budget, and user requirements?
spec'ing bikes is fun, esp as i've not done it in about 5 years.
