He's a DNS from Qualies, which would be he's out completely as the protected status wouldn't carry any weight. Like Finn last weekend, he still started his runs but pulled off the track straight away to get a DNF (both in Qualies and the Semi). The DNF then allows the protected status to be utilised.

Pub was full. We were sat next to very loud two gay blokes with wives who were clearly experts on the game. well... they certainly knew all the facilities at lots of football grounds anyway. then two germans fully face painted who watched the entire game with their aerms crossed and simply raised an eyebrow each time Germany scored. next to them a geriatric bloke who I honestly thought was going to have a heart attack at every referee decision. next to him the local knuckledragging xenophobe who wouldn't stop going on about France cheating by playing a team full of Africans. bizarrely the rest of the pub was full of families with their kids and dogs.
After the red card. Germany coulda easily scored another 5 if they'd just played like they did in the closing minutes. For a massive nation with a long history of international success Germany are rarely an entertaining team to watch

tuned in during Dunne's run. Kinda bummed I missed Loic and Dak's runs. Was wondering if anyone could match his time. But watching Amaury come down was crazy. He was visibly quicker than the others through the tricky corners (which ones... I know right?! what a course!!!).
Also gonna give a shout out to the media team. That drone shot half way down the course really showed how gnarly and technical the course was, and really showed how good the top riders are...
