I'm almost finished with How to Make Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. I think its a great book about relationships.

i'm working my way through Tolkien's Silmarallion while rewatching the LOTR series on the phone while on these endless plane rides...

Lost Victories by Field Marshal Erich von Manstein

Purgatorio by Dante. I need to get a new translation, I can hardly read more then one canto at a time.:plthumbsdown::plthumbsdown:

Paradise Lost by Milton, only a few hundred pages in by it is growing on me.

After these I will try and read:

i'm working my way through Tolkien's Silmarallion...
So much more depth to the Hobbit and LOTR when you find that an event mentioned in passing in those books actually fills a hundred pages in it's own telling. :thumb:

I've got a Dumas thing going: just finished _Vingt Ans Apres_ and am now onto _The Vicomte de Bragelonne_ to be followed by _Louise de la Valliere_

I was reading Night by Elie Wisel which is a great book.
I read that in 7th grade and wanted to stab myself. It would probably be much better if I read it now.

I'm planning on reading 1984 over my winter break. I'll pick it up tomorrow after my last exam (woohoo).

just finished Illustrated man for the fourth or fifth time I particularly loved The Exiles this time.
and Slow Man by Coetzee eh on that one
Gods Footprints was insane by Greg Iles really topnotch thriller/sci-fi
I am Legend is next

I just Finished a Book called A Problem From Hell (History of Genocide) by Samantha Power.

Can anyone recommend me some more eye opening nonfiction?

I am just about done with another book called California Dreams and Reality's (college is making me a liberal dammit.)
