Is there a "stupid flu" pandemic on RM lately? Apparently the first symptom is that it makes grown men act like 6 year olds?
You are joking right?

I don't see that ending up any different if he was clipped in.
Those two together were pretty funny. I don't even know if that was directed at me Transcend, but either way those posts, one after another were awesome!

But I am pretty stupid, so apologies for stupiding up the place...

Can't we all just get along :cupidarrow:

rennie's foot came off because he miss timed the rythme/bomb hole combo.... his fault.

rennie crashed due to pilot error

what if's (especially this kind) are just plain stupid

Speaking of stupid, anybody with an IQ equal to Forrest Gumps can see that at 2:14 of this vid:

Rennie's gigantic beast of a foot got blown off his pedal after he cased that hit. Rider error caused him to case it, but he crashed because his foot blew off the pedal. If he would have cased and flipped over the bars, then the hit was what caused the crash, but he crashed because he foot flew off and stabbed the ground.
And to be honest, this ain't no flats vs clips debate from me, because I have blown my foot off of clips on certain bad hits like this as well.

It actually looks like he cased it and his foot hit the ground (would happen regardless of what pedals you were using). It twisted his ankle off of the pedals (which would have un-clipped him anyways), then he fell.

I have done that before, being a 200lb + guy and g'ing out like that sucks.

He would have crashed regardless.

n'other technical question: how do the number plates work? Do they riders go into qualis with their result from the previous race, then the numbers for race day change based on qualifying results? Or do they go into qualis with their "overall" points rank?

How come the UCI rankings, updated at 18th May, show Gee Atherton in the lead?

because you're looking at the total uci points rankings, not just the world cup point rankings. Riders get points for every uci event they race in, even those outside the world cup. this is the link to just the world cup rankings:
