by the way its got all those adjustments you are looking for, and unlike rock shox, they actually work:p
And also we are from New England and not Cali, so thats something to considder....last year we were on a group ride at Sunday river, there must have been at least 10 riders in the pack...
just my 2 cents, but here it is....
I have 3 buddies/team bro's that are riding 2 08 888rc's and 1 08 888 wc....they were all early run forks and had the loose bushing thing...but all were fixed free of charge including shippping and othet than that have been perfect.....the problem was fixed...
I have run one for two years, and even though I wasnt crazy about the mouthpiece at first, I have an Azonic sponsorship and it was either that or the much heavier motocross one, and I hate wearing those heavy helmets......
Anyways, it is probably the best fitting, most comfortable helemt I have...
Ah, well, great....a website that actually makes PinkBike look mature....shame, this used to be a decent place, its a pathetic joke now....eventually these adolescent little morons who think they are all so funny ruin every decent website there is....good thing I hardly ever come here.....
Some idiot is going crazy on the dh forum...posting all kinds of offensive stuff, basically the whole first page is full of his threads, guys been at it for a while, and not making any friends.......someone needs to stop this pretty quick, its not even close to being funny.....
obviously....
Hence the "For all the haters"....
I think Og didnt read your post either, at least not the first sentence, otherwise he wouldnt have said what he did....
I just read all 11 pages, and I have to say, this has got to be one of the most shamefull threads ever.....so many people rag on Bender because he has the biggest crashes in history on film, so people have to say he cant ride.....dont you think they put those crashes in because they are so...
04 AZtech Rompah Stopmpah/ElJefe/02 Monster T
Rear spring is a 450, no spring preload/160lbs air pressure/ 4 clicks from full slow on rebound, and 5 clicks from wide open on compression.....has never bottomed once and is plush as all hell
Monster T has heavy springs, and a mix of mostly 15wt...
Be carefull with chosing the color, I agree it would be good to get an exact number.....a buddy of mine just had his harley painted with "house of color" paint, and did it a funky orange, and it didnt come out like he expected(although its still cool)...its a little bit pinkish, which is...
I had a 3" tire on a doublewide on a 2001 bullit, and it rubbed, but not super bad.....I changed it out to a 2.6 nokian, which was still pretty big, and the bike rode great....
Just read this, congrats to all three of ya....
Very cute baby too, awesome pics.....
May your baby grow up to be happy, healthy, and very fast, from Team FPP in NewHampshire......
So a used v10 or a used turner or a new R9?????....I would think that answer would be pretty easy, I would think if you can afford to buy new, thats the way to go....that r9 would probably last 3-4 years of racing, and Im pretty sure it could be ridden just as fast as those other rigs....I love...
Damn, that thing looks nice in blue....hadnt seen that before....Where are you at that the whole shop has R9's???? S Cali? Or Northeast? Im in the northeast, and actually rode at BowRidge yesterday(where the Sinister Ridge was designed/tested/named after)......bad news is that now BowRidge has a...
Boxxer is disposable, I have owned two, and they were the cheapest built forks I have ever owned....never said a 888 was fragile, I said it is prone to cracking, and I can show you dozens of pics to prove it....I can also show you dozens of pics of broken/cracked/bent boxxers.....and now these...
02 monster t is the best fork ever in the history of mtb....for the price of a bit more weight, you get unparalelled reliability, stiffness, plushness, and performance....manitous are not much lighter, not as stiff, and need tons of maintainance....Boxxers also require tons of maintainance and...
yeah, Ive seen them crack too, but as far as I know they are stronger than they used to be...a lightish dh race rig is never going to be crackproof, and GT will take care of you...
Im sure the Sinister would probably last longer, but when it comes to racing, performance is pretty much...
I have never ridden the sinister, but I will say this...just about every time I see someone riding one, they look like they are fighting it the whole way...its a very big bike, too big for most riders except those over 6 feet....and they are not very light...
the dhi, however, is a great race...
Ellsworth has without a doubt the worst customer service in the bike industry....dont expect to get that thing fixed without paying a good amount of cash.....Ellsworth does not honor their warrantys even if its still in the warranty period....a good friend of mine broke his on the second day of...
Well, what is the point just past where the drop/ladder ends is unlandable?....the drop may still be 6ft(or whatever) from the closest point to the ground, but if you dont land there, then its not really where u should measure...if you want to know how big the drop you just did is, its simply...
