Hey I was riding 38 on Sunday and saw a state patrol driving around very slowly, and then once I came out of the trail (KR) I saw him looking at my car and talking into his radio...
Should I not be parking at that main gate halfway up, or am I just paranoid? I also may just be out of the loop...
Anyone want to meet up and ride 38 tomorrow (Saturday) and/or Sunday?
I have a car thats good for shuttling, and am eager to get on some trails.

Ya, the engineering program at Udub screws alot of kids over... Thats why I changed majors, but ya other than that Udub is a great school.
Also the riding that is close to campus is constantly improving (Collanade, SST, Greenlake), and of course DH riding if you have a car to get to it.

wait, isn't it the faster riders responsibility to make a safe pass (since they are more under control)?
unless of course its during a race, then slower riders should get off the course and out of the way.
SGC was really fun when I did it awhile ago, and I thought that is was a good value.
I also think that it progressed my riding more than just riding the mountain with friends, so also take that into account.

I'm a soph at UW but ya I come from Norcal too (Monterey) the main thing I miss are long rides where you don't see anyone and can get in some flowy singletrack.

It is a red Santa Cruz Heckler, and it has many distinguishing parts. Since this is grand theft, I will give a cash reward to anyone who gives information leading to the bike's recovery.
