    ...so did they run the DS at #5? I was hoping to hear more about it and see pics, but havent seen a thing. Did it run or get cancelled? I would like to ride the final in a couple of weeks???

    ...it is being held @ Hindsight MX Park(indoor), and due to the volume of dirtbikes they have on other days and nights, they had to run it on Tuesday.

    ....yeah, $45 is kinda steep. If I remember from last year, it was only around $30..... that makes for an expensive trip from Hood River. Last year you didnt even get an event t-shirt. Nice prices for winning, but thought there would be some more event goodies.

    So, I've scoured the forum and Stevens Pass website looking for info about an 06-07 Winter DH race, but dont see a thing on the schedule. Is it out this year?     We have got some moisture last couple of days, but drying out pretty good. All the pavement is dry. So skinnies and such are not far behind! Like Ceder said, weather is on the up swing, so come on up and go "Postal"!!:biggrin:

    I definately recommend Post..... With dh bikes and the elevation changes, shuttling is the only realistic way..... there are usually a lot of riders you can hook up with on the bottom, but easy to get lost if not familiar, so find someone who has ridden it before. Currently it is dry and dusty...

    DH near Portland

    I recommend the Post Canyon trail system in Hood River (60 miles east of Portland). Great mix of downhill,drops,jumps,skinnies, etc. Shuttle-able with a car, but recommend hookin up with a person familiar with area, or get a map at the local bike shops. www.gfra.org
