I love Brooklyns, but Im 18 and a BMW is not really in the books for me moneywise right now, hopefully later on down the road I will have one. And I am always on the lookout for a parkbike frame, I love those.

Awesome bike! Cant wait to see the new Hitman?

PS Forgive my ignorance (for want of a better word) but is the Hitman just a beefed up Minilink or is the Mini link being beefed up aswell as a new bike (the Hitman)?

Hope that makes sense.

Kind of a drag this thread is so long that it's tedious for people to find if their question had already been answered. I think that Hitman stuff is in here. Anyway, not mad and you're not ignorant for asking...to my understanding the Hitman is a ways away from being available and will not be a beefed up version of those two bikes you mentioned. I'm guessing that the mini and the Hitman will be more like opposite ends of the spectrum.

Uiuiui, Knuckles got an FQ (aka: mini link). And as they say, there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. ;) Cheers.

Hope that makes sense, now. lol

... lucky bastard!
agreed. i'm kinda anxious if he's going to like it or not. and do you think he'll actually ride it. i see he gets lots of razzing for going through bikes, but not really riding them much. suprised he hasn't responded to the photos. i'm hoping ups showed up at the same time and he's busy mopping up....hehe.

for the record, i did check with him that it's okay i post his bike before he had the opportunity to. he demanded i get it up there immediately. can't say i wasn't happy to oblige. :D

Cant wait to see the new Hitman at Interbike, now! I think its gonna be a drop bike or real hardcore bike after reading what TMX has said. Should be interesting to see, and hopefully it'll have the new piggyback Avy shock.. Pimp!

i believe the hitman & big link were one and the same - essentially a linkage version of the tmx. i'm guessing this will be a contemporary derrivation...

Oh yeah, if you haven't read it yet, i posted instructions on attaching images on brooklynmachineworks.co.uk

Going by litter, there are some really awesome pics, so get uploading! ;)
yessir. will do sir.

extro, i just noticed that on ged's site too. for the record, i'm no authority on the subject just a friend of someone at the company so please don't take my word as brooklyn bible. i hope i'm wrong because i know alot of people are interested in brooklyn returning to the huckular burlified roots.

I dont believe most the stuff I read on the net tmx, no offence to you.. I especially dot believe the crap on mtbr or pinkbike.. Some guy on mtbr once said that Ohlins are getting into mtbs, I still dont know if he was telling the truth, but I think its bull**** tbh... Who knows?? I've seen no proof as of yet!

Whatever is happening etc; all Brooklyns rule! I hope the new Racelink has the new Avalanche piggyback anyway, those separate reservoirs look out of place to me... just my opinion.

Peace out.

do you see any vague similarities?
aww, easy on that stuff in here, right?

i once overheard a brooklynite respond to someone chastising bill at cliffcat for "copying" their design that it would be good to see similar designs out there so the general bike public could get used to the way it looks and aren't as reluctant to check it out because it's so different.

you know how we are (people in general) "ew different....nooooo!!! can't handle different. must have what i know and am familiar with. different is challenging and makes me think. NOOOOOO!"

the guy went on to note that you can't re-invent the bicycle, so in some way they're all a copy of the first. i thought that was pretty cool.

the more the merrier. the catch is if it works. ;)

edit: what a yack head i am. jeez. first i applaud the guy for being the supreme post-er in here then climb on that damn soapbox i keep meaning to throw away and school ya' for "picking" on another manufacturer. sorry xy. (and ar)

It's still got an aluminium front end :D;)

Can't really see from that pic, and can't remeber from previous pics, but does it have the same linkage as the racelink? Or is it linkless etc?

The one feature that frame has that is sheer quality, is that rear bolt through, its MASSIVE!
