Just like everything you disagree with from the right? If it's a democrat run state with democrat rules and companies & people are fleeing the state in droves what does that say about how it's run? It's not because of the weather or earthquakes. There is a reason behind the mass exodus, correct? CA lost an electoral college vote because people are leaving. It's not the right charging the high state income tax, its not the right that wants to abolish prop 13 for property taxes. It's all from the left side that has chased people away, not the right. What is wrong with my life? I have a great life, wonderful wife & kids, live in a beautiful town in a beautiful state. I'm truly blessed! But one has to ask, if one party controls every aspect of a state and its failing ($68B in debt being the 5th wealthiest economy in the world), then who is at fault? The ones that make all the decisions for everyone, or the ones who are forced to watch from the sidelines? When you have one party control and they won't let the other party have any say, then what?

I've been on the roads in CO and yes, yours are much better maintained than here in CA
I left in '93 and couldn't be happier. Oregon's cost of living has increased due to folks like me relocating, but it will never be like it was in San Diego when I left. And Oregon beaches don't have the human waste San Diego beaches have. Sure the surf isn't as good, but also no needles which is nice.
