Yep. Intact. Going on their 3rd year issue-free!Are those descendent carbon cranks?
Good to know I just stuck them in the evil ...that's awesomeYep. Intact. Going on their 3rd year issue-free!
I think I’m pretty light duty compared to you!Good to know I just stuck them in the evil ...that's awesome
At first I liked this post, but have changed it to fancy, because of the clever placement of those blue shop towels.About 2.5
I had removed them once before to swap out the ridiculous 34t chainring, so the factory *snap!* removal process was already taken care of….
Between de-ugga dugging the cranks and being terrified to cross thread that cassette, it was semi stressful. Kept it to a single beer and managed to not fuck it up.

I'm light till I'm not lol..so while I'm light it's perfect..works for me lmaoI think I’m pretty light duty compared to you!
Lol the latest Downtime podcast, Chris was saying how he wrenched his should trying to undo a crank bolt and I'm pretty sure I can guess what interface was involved....How many ugga duggas was your dub crank bolt done up to?
I clamp everything on the TT. If there's a good reason not to, I'd rather be ignorant because its too late to learn a new way.best spot to clamp the bike
I could start a whole thread on the merits of good shop towels and why Scott Shop towels are worth hoarding.those blue shop towels.
What else to wear when nobody with a stick up his arse is to be met?i tend to. people know me at work for rolling in in khakis, button down shirt, and flops if i don't have anything fancy going on.
I think I was subconsciously going for the revolt vibe, I loved that bike's aesthetic. I am 5'9 and usually ride a medium modern bike, occasionally I can ride a large. This bike is a medium and probably a bit short in terms of reach but fit's me everywhere else. It's probably the big fork that is making it look small.Bringing back the Revolt vibes.
That bike looks tiny, how tall are you?
The last time I needed to remove sram cranks, never again.About 2.5

some dh bikes from the 2010-ish time point till maybe 2015/17ish are very similar in overall geometry to modern DH bikes with the exception of wheelbase and reach. my xprezo is one of those.I think I was subconsciously going for the revolt vibe, I loved that bike's aesthetic. You don't think they would be longer now? I wish the reach was a little longer on this without giving up standover.some dh bikes from the 2010-ish time point till maybe 2015/17ish are very similar in overall geometry to modern DH bikes with the exception of wheelbase and reach. my xprezo is one of those.
I'm OCD this isn't our true garage, it's an auxiliary off our house.Damn that's a tidy garage. My garage -
Just curious, why are half your bikes upside down?Damn that's a tidy garage. My garage -
The main reason is it keeps the fork wipers/foam rings lubricated. A Fox service tech told me to do it years ago and it's been a habit since. Also it's fairly space efficient.Just curious, why are half your bikes upside down?
Dear god thats a nice workspace. RM Mancave/garage/carhole/workshop thread needs to happen.Back to tuning...
No what I mean is that bikes are longer now, but that's the most prominent differenceYou don't think they would be longer now? I wish the reach was a little longer on this without giving up standover.
It'd be a competition between @manhattanprjkt83 's, @bullcrew , @buckoW and whatever monstrosity @HardtailHack has goingDear god thats a nice workspace. RM Mancave/garage/carhole/workshop thread needs to happen.
I have a workbench with stuff I throw at it.It'd be a competition between @manhattanprjkt83 's, @bullcrew , @buckoW and whatever monstrosity @HardtailHack has going
Nice and roomy. But I still think your old workshop with the view, the fork collection and the piss pot in the corner was on par.Back to tuning...
Interesting. Does it make a noticeable difference in how the bikes ride? The main reason is it keeps the fork wipers/foam rings lubricated. A Fox service tech told me to do it years ago and it's been a habit since. Also it's fairly space efficient.
Not sure, as I always store them like that - probably not a major difference. I remember Darren from Push giving a tip to briefly invert the fork at the top of a descent to lube up the rings/wiper, but the main reason that the Fox tech gave me to do it was to extend service intervals and stanchion/bushing lifespan.Interesting. Does it make a noticeable difference in how the bikes ride?
Thanks dude! Def my pride and joy and the first thing I 'configured' when we purchased the house.Dear god thats a nice workspace. RM Mancave/garage/carhole/workshop thread needs to happen.
Ha! This one has a much better view and a trail out of the shop! Don't worry forks are intact.Nice and roomy. But I still think your old workshop with the view, the fork collection and the piss pot in the corner was on par.
Yeah it's like 2ft but I'll take itdeck huck right out of the shop?
and here i thought i was fancy because my shop has its own entrance because our basement is a walkout.Yeah it's like 2ft but I'll take it
