boo/hiss. are you on a lab computer up at ubc?eknomf said:too much work... no photo software on here other than paint...
have you looked at the transition dirtbag? cheaper and a bit lighter, if you want to stick in the kona-design worldzane said:I'm thinking about getting the scream because the massive standover on my kona is starting to get to me. It's fine when I'm riding but when I want to put a foot down on a skinny I'm screwed. It might happen, nothing's set in stone at the moment...
I'd consider your frame if it wasn't a medium, a large scream feels perfect to me. Chris's is a large, I like the way it rides and I can get a pretty good deal on it. I'll then sell my kona frame with the jr.t I still have laying around and make the money back that I spent on the frame.eknomf said:yeah those look pretty nice... but why not try a different suspension design? There really isnt anything that great about the kona one. If you still want a scream though i might get rid of mine sometime soon in favor of something a bit lighter because i actually have to pedal up hills here and it sucks on a heavy bike.
Tonight? What're you talking about Ryan?eknomf said:anybody want to ride tonight, tomorrow, or sometime this week?

Did the Canada kick you out? Or did you just get thrown out of college?
Maybe I'll ride with you later this week.

The best riding this winter is at the indoor bmx track in Milwaukie. Grab your hardtail and race the MTB class.sam_little said:Alright PDX monkeys... it is Friday the 14th, and apparently there are 5 inches of snow covering the trails at Falls City, which I was planning on riding tomorrow. So, what are my other options right now. The snow is gonna suck this weekend, so snowboarding is out. Anything up near portland in any kind of shape to ride right now? Wildcat? Post Canyon? Is there anything in Eastern Oregon worthy of a road trip?
Help me out. A message today would be great so I know where to go by the morning.
I don't know what they are gonna do about racing licenses if you're on a mtb. I assume they will want you to purchase a cruiser class (24") ABA card.sam_little said:I googled it... didn't come up with what I was looking for. Do you have to be an ABA member for insurance reasons? One day licenses? What kind of track terrain, i.e. is it small jumps and lots of flat, or big tables/doubles and such? I know I'm not the only one that finds it difficult to keep speed on flat tracks. -S
I'll try to make it out there tomorrow. I'm still all busted up from my crash Wednesday.Hack said:I went to check it out and let my kid's watch but i didn't see any MTB's.
Were you there?
Yeah from what ive heard theres not much left for local riding... but maybe new things have been built since i last rode there. I want to do some trailbuilding somewhere close in this summer once i get back if anyone is interested or has some projects i can help on.gunslingger said:do not get me wrong i amnot saying leadbetter in the state it is compares to wildcat or PC but leadbetter is 15 minutes away. all i wanted to do was hit some jumps and there are a few fun ones at leadbetter.
plus i have not ridden in a while and I do not want to ride with a bunch of people and embarass myself.......especially the WILDCAT crew!
Here's where I've been riding the most lately.jordanator62 said:where all do you usually ride?
I want to ride!eknomf said:Does anyone want to ride this coming weekend? I'll probably go out to Post Canyon or something one day and ride somewhere closer like larch mtn the other. Im also starting to work on some dirt jumps in vancouver if anyone wants to dig or ride. Theres one set that is jumpable now, but they are getting better.
