Weird, most of the Specialized sales have been global or had local impact here in Argentina. These are still makred at full price.

I guess I'll keep checking the local site, maybe there's a delay with pricing updates.
Can you try buying from the specialized us store and seeing what international shipping is?

There are a number of retailers price matching to the specialized site but they don’t have the full range of sizes

27.5 Enderpo bikes are so friggen rare these days. Wonder if its a runout pricing. You don't see many at events anymore.
I am a fatty looking for something I can short shock and mullet, I don't think my current frame has much life left in it.
Burly frame with a 64 deg HA and 130mm travel or less.
I was looking at Alutechs but to get 500mm reach you also get a 500mm seat tube, also finding a 230x50mm shock seemed tricky.

I'm on the same boat, the Status 140 looks promising, or maybe the new Ripley AF?

Yeah, I don't want to deal with our local Spesh dealer, or the next nearest, haha.

I thought Salsa had something in a short travel mullet but it seems I was wrong.

For the muricans who don't mind a McPherson strut and low stack height, these are a great price and the alloy is $1000.

I really don’t understand why QBP pushed Salsa to get such a wide range of bikes. For such an ‘alt’ and legacy cycling brand I get the gravel and weirdo road bikes, but their full suspension and budget bikes are so pedestrian and cheap looking. They just feel off, like if Rock Lobster or Ritchey started doing carbon full suspension enduro bikes.

Marin was doing a little 27.5 playbike that looked dope. They might have discontinued it for 2024. Not the right HA tho but I doubt you'd die. Could also angleset or overfork

Aight so my 5.10 hellcat pro's (I think) are starting to fall apart. Seems like shoes are being blown out at the moment. Any recommendation on these cheap shoes or others?

Yeah but the little bit of rust and wrinkles in the paint makes me think it will fail fairly soon.
It's annoying as the travel amount and geo is spot on for what I do.
Gave the builder my weight and what intended to do with the bike but still got a wet noodle.

I bought the Torrent as a backup but it ended up being the only bike I rode for nine months.

This might be polarizing, but I think steel is the worst material for full suspension frames. It's too flexy, heavy, and prone to crumpling with loads aluminum resists better.

Yeah I just wanted something simple with minimal travel, a slack HA, as few bearings as possible and weight was a non issue.

But the TT/DT tube dia* is so tiny and the brace for the ST is half the dia of the other tubes and I assume it is brazed on past the butting so it flexes the tube.

*Yes I know there is more to strength/stiffness than just the tube dia.

Next dual sus bike will ideally be stiff as a board.
For now, I am poor so there will be no for a bit.

Edit, here's a pic.

Get out yer tig welder and put in a new gusset and doubler plate. That would be pretty easy to beef it up.

Nah, the cordless grinder is waiting for its first victim.
The front end is still gonna sway like a white woman at a Michael Bolton concert, I'd rather break it and move on.

I have the tufo crip in blurple, I like them a lot. Had a little issues during break in, but they were invisible for ~50 miles up in kingdom trails.

I nabbed some Ion shorts on special the other day and they fit my tree trunk legs, so now I need to find enough of them to last me 10yrs.
I don't think they will last long but I appreciate the stitching work and they are super breezy.
