Enjoying a glass of Laphroaig quarter cask with a bit of cool water. That bit of water really wakens it up. It is still peaty but not overpowering anymore, and really releases some sweetness as well.

Anyone tried this

Sierra Nevada Harvest Series, Wet Hop

I was impressed with how smooth it was for such a hoppy beer.

Are there other wet hop beers out there?

Found a new brewery Peak Brewery, tried their Alb Weiss last night. Very pleasant drop, the Alb Weiss is a wheat beer style from south west Germany. I'd give it an 7 out of 10 :)

I am loving wet hopped beer right now. The hops takes on suh a peculiar flavor profile compared to beer made with dried hops.

My two favs (I am not sure how far they distribute) are Central Waters Hop Harvest, which is wet hopped with barley & hops all grown in state. The other is a Three Floyds wet hopped ale but I cant remember the name. Gonna have to check out this SN Harvest ale.

Water because I am st work. But I have been enjoying the hell out of cheap wine lately. I've got a couple of stores in my neighborhood that have killer sales and really stock some great afforadable wine. So good I can't remember the name of any of it.
