On the news they just said that the coast guard plane was landing and the airbus was taxiing
The video (maybe 20 posts down at the link I posted) shows the Airbus still at a high rate of speed after landing, and the coast guard plane just sitting there until the Airbus went right through it. then instant big flames.

Kid that was sitting in that row that had his shirt sucked off will never fly again.

I always leave my belt on, but that's generally to avoid turbulence issues, not an unplanned freefall from 16,000ft. I think I'll try to keep avoiding 737 Max.

Haha. I am a fairly regular passenger and horrible at remembering my lapbelt. I won’t have that problem on Monday!

That pic right there is a great reminder…especially since I fly Alaska Air out of PDX ~20 times a year.

Boeing will need to charge Alaska more for that plane now as they'd not paid for that rear exit option.
