I was dubious about the doors and mirrors like Bucko apparently was, too, but turns out that is indeed what B7 mirrors and door handles looked like. Looks like it's Audi bodywork right to the B pillar.

If I gotta start commuting again, the truck will kill me. This might be fun, though. 47k miles on an '04 6 speed.

My old truck did WAY worse than this, but it's still pretty bad. It's about $400 a month in gas. I'm not looking to "break even", I'm looking for viable options.
Truck = $400/month in gas
Z = $200/month payment, $80/month insurance, $200/month in gas
So +$80/month for 6 speed fun.
And let's not forget my commute. Rocky Point isn't fun in the truck.
It's got 47k miles on it. I could get at least 100k out of it and I only need it to last a year before I'm back to remote work. And I'd look to pay more like $9k.19 yo Nissan for 12k?
Maybe Nissan is a different situation, but the biggest challenge with my 21yo VW with low mileage is that all the plastic and rubber parts - hoses, pipes, wires, interior parts, buttons - go to shit regardless of the mileage.
My Vette developed a random security fault that I never solved and nobody seemed to know about.
I've been bugging my buddy who had 2 different 350z's before he bought his GT-R. Reliability is actually pretty good on these it seems, but I know what you mean about the degradation.
