Do you carry a spare tube? Haven't attempted to carry one myself, because they are freaking huge (and we don't have rox like those).
Frame bag on the fatty means I have room for tube, decent pump and space for all the layers you fuck around with through a winter ride.Do you carry a spare tube? Haven't attempted to carry one myself, because they are freaking huge (and we don't have rox like those).
I'm Darwing awards potential when I ride le fatbike. No tubes or pump. One day I will hike 10 miles in clumsy boots.Do you carry a spare tube? Haven't attempted to carry one myself, because they are freaking huge (and we don't have rox like those).
I have done some hiking out carrying or pushing all sorts of bicycles. I did some riding on the Intense this year with no pack/pump/spares/water, whatever the burden one carries on one's back, and got away with it happily. I don't think I'd do that in the southwestern deserts, but that's a different game.I'm Darwing awards potential when I ride le fatbike. No tubes or pump. One day I will hike 10 miles in clumsy boots.
Exactement! I do that all the time on my local trails cause I know I can get out quick or call someone to pick me up if I'm too far in. On trips, I always have my bag. I do prefer to ride with just a bottle though.I have done some hiking out carrying or pushing all sorts of bicycles. Pretty sure it's Milwaukee 2718, 18V 1-3/4" rotary hammer drill. Local IMBA chapter bought it for us a while ago, a couple of proposed reroutes go through fields of Igneous rocks - we try to minimize disturbing soil (or lack thereof) by reshaping/chipping larger rocks rather than digging them out. What's model/make of the drill?
I see you have your BigBoy along for the ride. Might I suggest a new Silky, say...the Katanaboy 1000...

nothing says fun like huck to dangerSomeone build a new jump into the steep chute. Considering the exposure and knowing how slick the roots are when wet I can see why they closed it for now. Will be fun in the dry me thinks.
