Dang looks surprisingly dry by you.More of the same.
This is what @jackalope and I do instead of riding because our weather has been nearly as bullshit as it was last winter. Just tiny changes to the natural terrain will make this pretty fun methinks. Will be grande when Spring arrives!
We have a lot of those here.Ugh white stuff. But nice white stuff? Got lured in by a wonderful packed snowshoe trail....only to discover it was a dead end, damnit.

I see people like this with the goggles and face masks and I think: Man, it's only 10 degrees F, it's not even cold yet. How are you going to survive 100 miles that will probably dip into the negatives at night if you are already going to these lengths?

what's curious about this shot is that the trail goes downhill in both directions...
I wanted to take more pictures and frame them better, but I was trying to stay ahead of an e-biker. He might have been a bit quicker on the climbs and the straights, but I didn't want to be stuck behind him on the tight, twisty DH that was coming up ahead:

I'm mystified by this whole situation... some people can see my photos, and others can't... I cut and paste the link from my google photos. if no one could see the photos, I'd think it's because of my privacy settings. But that some people can see them, and others can't... I can't figure it out.
They're nothing spectacular really, so I won't bother uploading them to the monkey to repost them...
this reminds me a lot of the spot in MA i used to ride when i lived in RIMore of the same.
Learned today that my still not 100% healed hand is not ready for prime-time riding of the hardtail in anger.

only a few pics from le windrock. snuck in a illegal self shuttle the extra 1200' to the top to hit windmill trail. it's a long ass downhill...(you can guess which one from le strava graph). damn i love the rawness of that place...dude we rode with in the middle in the first pic is a former world class bmx rider - will murray - who always slays it in all the regional dh races too.
