20 miles out, 14 shortest way home but winds from the north might make the long way faster.

Winds settled in ENE at about 10 so I ended up doing 52.22 miles with an average moving speed of 11.1 MPH. Average HR 122 so no need for recovery. Longest ride since before my heart surgery, feeling pretty good about that.

Fuck ton of people in the woods. Even on the lesser used/known trails. Rode slowly, stayed friendly, blocked braids.

Rode the Don Valley in Toronto today. Much people in there. Tons of narrow bench cut stuff on the side of the steep valley walls. Ate shit in this huuuuge berm that was a mud pit on the outside...I went wide to avoid hitting some dude laying in the middle of the trail.

Fun ride but damn it's totally different than what I've been riding lately. Nothing but up down uo down up down repeat x50. No big long climbs followed by an equally long descent. Really whips the llamas ass.

Got out for a ride this morning with my #1 favorite riding partner. Thing is, the ride got cut a little short.

When we got back to the car she says “I can’t wait until I heal up and can ride again”

(she’s fine just a few scrapes and bruises)

timed a cold front, managed to ride in the desert without dying from heat.
105* when we rolled in on Friday afternoon; massive, biblical storm rolled in, 70s-80s for the rest of the weekend with perfect trail conditions.

Damn, you dodged a bullet on that, I'd never be caught riding Moab in late June-July-August...

Hello Monkeys! More road bikery. 63.30 miles today, 12 mph moving speed, 1263 elevation gain and 132 AHR. Garmin says rest for 16 hours so I will. 201.6 miles last 7 days, 268.9 for June so far. Picture is looking north from the 10th Ave Bridge in Great Falls MT, only 3 miles from home but I had to stop due to hot foot. I was on the hardtail with flats and 5.10s, not the best plan for power tranfer but generally comfortable for up to 5 hours.
