Great day. Lunch stop at the ski hill was a bad decision.

Rode a trail, that we don't do very often and sadly found that it's been under the knife by some root hater. :(

Wife hasn't been able to MTB so far this year due to carpal/arthritis in her left wrist. But we got out today for a bit until the rain ruined things and she had a blast.

And the vented 3.3mm rotor and 2.0 rear were the shit today, not even close to overheating or fading on 50% sustained grades.

Holy balls it's hot here, the car said 29c on the way home.

Bike is creaking super bad again. Bad enough that I opted out of an additional loop, so as to not listen to it creak on the climb. Don't know what's up, seems to be the seat post, again. I have a feeling the bottom of it is rubbing on the linkage in the frame. Might need a shorter seatpost, dammit. Anyone have a 180 OneUp for sale? :)

But anyways, great day on the trails though. Nobody out there, which was surprising.

Found someone's dub crankbolt cap thing, so I stuck it on a nearby tree.

No snakes sun bathing today.
