Friggin hot, but great path ride. Packing beer was key.

Not great was getting red ants up my shirt.

Had to convince buddies to get in the pool. Not sure what they were thinking, with it being so hot.

I feel pretty good for June, and cleared a few technical step ups that I don't even normally try because I'm tired from climbing.

Rideit's boobs are are hiding in the dusty cloudy haze...

Black flies (fuck you horses) and mosquitoes are tag teaming me.

Had a big off for the first time in a while. Missed a turn in the steeps, couldn’t make the corner with the soft shoulder, stepped out, found myself in the air above the steep bank, came down and hit a log with my leg that flipped me. Rolled once and was stopped by a tree. Came out with minor scratches and basically unscathed. Broke my chainring though. Nice little reminder of what we’re doing.

Most excellent ride. It DUMPED rain right before our ride, so the dirt was prime and the roots were like ice.

We opted to ride a few lesser traveled tech trails, that are, in my opinion, the definition of true natural singletrack.

Didn't want to race the full-meal-deal 3-lap race, so I entered the two lap this evening. Ended up sandbagging and winning it.

Yesterday's office. Holimont Bike Park Ellicottville, New York.
Day tripable from SW Ontario. It took us about 3.5 hours one way including border time. A bit further (1/2hr) than our local "Horseshoe" but so, so much better terrain.
Very small place, 1/2 dozen DH trails, all apt for trailbikes.
Had a great day on the little bike.

Easy ride on some local trails in town today.

This part of the trail felt like Australia for some reason. Would have been sick if a hardtailhack popped out of the bush!

How many bugs are in the picture? Answer = yes

Could have done without this shit.

New bike path, new skate park! This is a route I’ve travelled at times almost daily for the past 7 years. Now, with a proper bike path and circulation. Bravo.
