Brutal soft conditions tonight. Pretty much like riding a skinny the entire time. Good core workout :panic:

What are all those marks on the sides? Waddlers w/o droppers that slide forward and try to chew the sides of the trail off w/feet?

F-me, this is what our trails look like:

Conditions right now are shit for fatbikes or skinny bikes. But not for an FS fatbike.

They passed a right to disconnect law over here a few months back meaning you don't have to address work calls or emails after work hours.

Got two texts at 6AM asking if I'd come in, I got up at 9AM, got a haircut then went for a ride.

Did a 20km ride with the little one this weekend. It was great. His new move is called “meditation”. I tried it and speed wobbled and almost ate it :)

Quick ride up the hill. Moms zipping by me on their ebikes… 1.5 children in tow.

Trail/road maintenance via backhoe and steamroller (is imba on duty? :D)

Got yelled at like it was a dh race coming down the hill. Admittedly, I was hauling on a pretty tech trail. Heard a “Vouah! Allez!!” Just off trail, couldn’t look and just kept it moving… but that was unexpected and brought a smile.

Though it looks to be an older one. Had one that worked well/lasted quite a few years before breaking in a crash.
That's it. It's a Trident X or something. Recommended by someone here.

Have had it for years and it hasn't missed a beat. Battery lasts a long time too, I just run it on full blast.

It's not quite as bright as some lights out there now, but no complaints and I know it'll always work.

Mine was a very similar looking model, as well as one of their helmet lights. They were great until they finally died. Would still be using them otherwise. I'd imagine their new stuff is on par with most other stuff out there.

Our conditions suck, there's just ice really.

But this is the best *ucking fatbike I've ever owned.

Finally able to get back out riding again.

Short ride on the way home from up north today.

Started the ride without my thumb splint, but I think all the boot holes at the start really beat on it; had to put it back on and felt great after. Don't want to rely on it though...

Anyways lots of snow up north and it's turned solid after some mild temps this week. Solid enough to use the edges as little berms.

This part was so sketchy. Downslope with water running over ice, on bare rock. Studs didn't do shit :busted:

Heck yeah
