Not sure what's going on with my sleep, have felt good for the last two days.
So I got on the bike today, conditions were perfect and I did about 12km of singlet rack and didn't see another person.

And I get to look after this little legend on my way to/from the trails.

Oh what a difference a day (and 600 miles south) makes:

How it started (yesterday)

It's safe to say that Holy Guacamole kicked my ass, and I will be searching for white dots in my dreams.

Rinse, repeat tomorrow before heading to Vegas to meet some friends.

Not pictured a case of Moab Brewery tall boys (Costco ftw in the Zion Curtain) to sooth my achy bits.

Glad that you enjoyed Guac as I know it was one that I'd said was a fun loop.

A crisp morning. Felt amazing to see the bright sunshine. Army out for a run. Did a fairly spicy blown out dh trail. Was good! And mushrooms!

Be-beep I saw the roadrunner on today's ride, Zen in St George.

This riding is so different from anything I normally do.

I don't do a lot of jumps, drops and stunts.

I prefer to be "grounded" since I moved to the Rockies and learned to "mountain" bike without health insurance and still pursue it with the same vigor.

Did some more exploration today. Took a couple of wrong turns and climbed way more than I had expected. Tried a new trail with a fun little drop on it - I’ll take what I can get! The roads in the hills are spotless - I see why roadies flock here. Saw some mushroom hunters, no hunting signs, old hidden villas, and plenty of rock. Good ride.

Smoothes out the lumps. STRAVA 'sez I had held 1003w for 20 seconds sprinting into an uphill approaching 12deg after a descent Sunday.

They do have some great paint jobs on those sprint's :thumb:
Had been looking to build one since 2019. Nearly built Indigo Blue / White.

The one I've got just has a little more 'pop' to it though.

I considered one for the "retro" build I'm doing, mechanical and rim. But just got an SL6 Ultralight rim frame for that project instead.

Did one of the local classic trails today. I have been waiting because it involves going over the mountain and descending into the valley beyond and I wanted to make sure I had the fitness for that. Fitness is good now and the trail was awesome, chunky and fast. Cool sights on the climb back up and many other new trails as well. Looking forward to seeing what else is over here.
