How tall is she, 4'9"?
lol, she's 5'short". I'd say 5'2" with shoes on.

It was super hard to find a bike that fit her. Most XS bikes don't fit a dropper (even 100mm) all the way into the frame so it doesn't matter how low the standover is, the seat is gonna be hitting her in the ass. The Yeti Betti bikes were some of the only bikes that actually fit so we were stoked when a barely used bike came along at a steal of a price.

we were gonna do another lap of something but wrenching on my busted derailleur and beers at my buddy’s house in edgemont led to more beers and it getting late.

This place was a bit too wet, so I cut it short and had a beer. Then went home and made coq au vin. Most complicated way to make chicken stew EVAR. With roast green beans and shishito peppers.

wherezzis? green river gamelands?
Bear Branch is in Mills River easy to add it to Trace as it dumps out near the shitter where we frequently park. We rode an unmentionable then Trace on Day 2

The bridge was one of several on a South Mills River-->Cantrell Creek-->Horseshoe Cove-->Squirrel Gap-->Mullinax-->South Mills River loop that we did out of the Turkey Pen parking area. Did this on Day 3

New girlfriend turned me on to that Salsa. Corn tortillas also. I am sure they aren't good for me in anyway.
Their/her salsa and jalapenos are good, but we really like a couple of them from Newman's, if not rolling our own. We'd normally slice up fresh peppers, but I'm hoarding the last ones from the garden, and we had this jar in the fridge...anyhow, the pickled/brined flavor worked out pretty well.

Preference is for corn tortillas, but somehow ended up with flour this time.

Was up there on the 1st. Rode Black, Buckwheat and Bennet. Buckwheat got the gnur.

Are leaves starting to change yet ?
Avery and Bennett were also both more blown out than when I last rode them. Things that used to be big compressions are now 3-4 foot drops into a shitstorm of roots and stuff. It was awesome but we had more flat tire issues than ever before--guess it's time for inserts or DH rear tires or something...

It was hot AF (80's and humid) which really hurt my feelings on the bigger days--lots of bonking and dehydration issues in our crew. No leaves changing yet as apparently Fall is drunk.
