Not a bad way to start the weekend, 27.5 miles, 3200ft vert and a crappy uphill photo because the downs are too much fun.

One of those days to perhaps have stayed home to do yard and house crap.

Trail bed is right next to the tree, I went for a high up and over the rock alternate. Which obviously didn't work out. Buncha bruising, sore right shoulder, and holding the bar with the right hand is not...pleasant. Was going to go ride lifts tomorrow, maybe will give it a day. Rag dolled a few feet past the picture here.

Day 26. The Sam Hill bit from Follow Me.

View attachment 135526

I didn’t ride it. Just pedalled up to it. I’m whipped.
That is awesome! Loved the film and Hill is my favorite rider of all time. He and Vanderham rode that section when it was really wet and looked very slippery. Friend of mine went to Indonesia and got to race against Sam (and share the hot seat for a bit! highlight of his year) back when Sam was with Specialized (Spesh Asia-Pacific DH Challenge). He said there was a section with slippery roots that they were all avoiding but Sam just plowed through it and let the rear tire dance around. That man can ride anything. Even a 29er.

Got a late start yesterday (almost 9 am so already hot) and just rode uphill to the municipality above my city about 9-10 km away. I was the only biker at the little store that sells breakfast and coffee or tsokolate (Filipino hot chocolate).

Only bike on the bike rack

Is your Dog and your Kid back there in the Fog somewhere? I don't understand whats going on here.
He drove a Nissan Leaf up there and then rode 50 m away to take that photo. Lazy indeed

Oh he has a Nissan Leaf. That explains alot...
He doesn't. That was all a lie. I believe he has a Mitsubishi Outlander? Something like that. Or maybe that's his brother's. All Canadians look the same…
