How many pedal pins have you lost?
Quite a few it seems. I hadn’t really noticed. I did blow a pedal today that caught me by surprise. Maybe I should blame the pedal!

No Eagle. On the way to GJ just in time for days of rain, may call an audible and just push through to Moob.
Took the road bike out and cruised up some climbs that I haven't been able to do in a while. Slowly getting my fitness back. Saw way more bikes than cars too.
Ruff day. Woke up with headache. No energy during the ride.
Then I went OTB on some rocks, following someone who was doing the trail for the first time. Would normally be going much faster on that section of trail - front wheel went in a hole and out the front I went. Bars and brakes are all scratched now
But thankfully no injury, other than some road rash on the right forearm. Phone is bent too, which judging from the hole in my favorite riding shorts (dammit), it probably saved my thigh from smoking a rock.
Great day out there though.

science! how shaken up is this beer vs. when strapped to the full suspension bike on the same trails.
result: not much.
~ 3.5 miles of shit traiffic pavement to get to this (my most ridden local spot) and ~ 6miles of trail ridden, then back home.
