I'd say whole upper link replacement is probably the right thing to do for a lot of people, press in new ones if you are capable of cobbling up the right tools.I wasn't sure where they were using bushings, just recalled that one of the parts was sold complete. Where had you got the most wear?
Lower bushings were like new. Upper link bearings weren't great but serviceable, showed signs of water infiltration (I ride in the wet 9 months out of the year). Inner yoke bushings were a little worn, signs of grit inside. Outside yoke bushings like new.
