120? I'd pass!
3rd-ed.2nded.
Well, find one like it for cheaper... I haven't been able to. Even Edmonds agrees on the price.3rd-ed.
an '06 with 120K AND they want 17.5? forget it.
KBB says mine is worth $23k+. And I didn't lie about the condition.Well, find one like it for cheaper... I haven't been able to. Even Edmonds agrees on the price.
I passed on it any way. They said someone else was interested and they were coming in this morning, so I just said "maybe they want it more." Just found a 2009 TRD Sport long bed on Craigslist with 25K miles loaded. He wants $27k for it, and Edmonds agrees with that too... The search continues.
But you're also making a good point. Used models are almost the same price if the mileage is under 50K here. Problem is, I can't afford anything over 30K right now; which is what the new pricing is in my area. Price difference on that one I found for 27K is 6 grand!!! (Yeah, exact model new is 33K)KBB says mine is worth $23k+. And I didn't lie about the condition.
I paid under $25k 4 years ago, brand new.
That's why I bought new.
Not a crew... I spend enough time in a friends X-cab to know I need the crew. Nice try though. Not a manual, but good looking truck.
You open to buying in Idaho or Utah? Some quick searches pulled up some things.Well, find one like it for cheaper... I haven't been able to. Even Edmonds agrees on the price.

Not bad.
Kind of a stretch for me without any vacation time in my near future. There's a dealership in Roseville Ca. that seems to only deal in the type of truck I want. I'm going to talk to my bank today to see what buying there would entail. Their prices are way better than anyone up here, private or dealer. You open to buying in Idaho or Utah? those few things will give it more power too..making your habit worseThere's a couple things I'm going to do to help mileage, but the biggest problem is just my habits.
Right on, still built in the USA by Americans.......
waiting for quirkly responses to ensue
didnt they check it once before already?taking mine in for service tomorrow. when i called for the appointment, their system flagged it for the frame rust warranty, so its getting re-inspected.
I inspected mine myself, and noticed a tiny bit of surface rust. Vehicles in our area don't have many rust problems, so I'm not really worried. I've heard of trucks like mine that leave piles of brown dust on the ground if you hit the frame with a hammer...taking mine in for service tomorrow. when i called for the appointment, their system flagged it for the frame rust warranty, so its getting re-inspected.
some service bulletins require for periodic inspection, in hope to reduce costs....didnt they check it once before already?

They must've forgot to mention someone was murdered in it...i was just reading through past replies and some of you paid out the nose for your trucks.back in 08 I picked up an 07 TRD sport quad cab long bed, jbl, sca, with 1200 miles on it, for 22k+ttl.
update: now what they're doing is reinspecting. if it fails, i get the buyback, if it passes, they recoat the frame.they did. i won't argue with another roll of the dice for a warranty.

FWIW i did a quick visual, definitely a lot of rust, but from where i looked, no perforations
more like:
NJ. I'm familiar with the issue, and this truck did spend 4 winters in upstate NY, so there's some significant rust on the under carriage.Where do you live?
idk how they do it. from what they said it sounded like they're gonna coat the inside of the frame.theyre going to "recoat" the frame on top of all that surface rust? sweet
