Every single time I think about this upcoming fight, all I see is this:He'll be screwed each time another round starts. They'll be on their feet where Chael can get jacked.
But in this case, Chael shoots, catches an upper cut/knee, done.

Oh no...I watched that fight...and I thought, "Wow...Forest just gave up!!". But then I watched the entire fight a few more times...and yeah...the prebeating was key. I think a knee/upper cut while shooting will do Chael in. Gameover. He put so little into the punch, but it was the sum of all punishment. It just looks even worse since you don't see the prebeating.
Forrest was outclassed, and it was almost like suicide by knockout.Every single time I think about this upcoming fight, all I see is this:

I remember seeing this on PPV. Anderson was working Ryo's ass for the entire fight. This is actually considered by some to be the best submission ever. Too bad Ryo Chonan couldn't make things happen when he came over to the UFC.Has anyone seen this... pretty cool.
Wow, that was bad ass. It stil blows me away at how crazy accurate he is, though. He has smart bombs for hands, I swear. I can't stand Silvas attitude, but you have to respect the skills.Has anyone seen this... pretty cool.
LOL! Alves' reaction when Sonnen says he's gonna beat up anderson silva says it all... he looks at dana and pretty much rolls his eyes. Even top notch fighters know he doesn't stand a chance. The stare down at the end is pretty clear, Chael is getting the beating of a lifetime.
I have never seen a staredown which looked like a punch to the face...

Really, I'm surprised Sonnen is not a teabagger.Sonnen talked a lot more sh!t than I thought, wow. It will be interesting to see how it works out. They interviewed Anderson's trainer with a black eye because he caught a knee on a shot.
He will be when Anderson is done with him.Really, I'm surprised Sonnen is not a teabagger.
well I have always said nelson is a solid fighter with some talent, this fight is make or break for me. If he wins, I still say he has some talent, if he loses then i eat crow.Chael Sonnen (185 lbs.) vs. Anderson Silva (184.5 lbs.)
Thiago Alves (171.5 lbs) vs. Jon Fitch (170.5 lbs.)
Ricardo Almeida (170.5 lbs.) vs. Matt Hughes (170.5 lbs.)
Junior dos Santos (240 lbs.) vs. Roy Nelson (263 lbs.)
Rafael Dos Anjos (156 lbs.) vs. Clay Guida (156 lbs.)
hahahaKevinI:
Sonnen put on a truly unbelievable performance -- AND STILL LOST!
except he wasnt bleeding and it was Cael that was bloody and beat up.sounds like a bad prom night for silva....on his back and bleeding.
then i read yahoo's live coverage wrong...except he wasnt bleeding and it was Cael that was bloody and beat up.
Damn, I really hate silva and was hoping chael would pull it out.well I have always said nelson is a solid fighter with some talent, this fight is make or break for me. If he wins, I still say he has some talent, if he loses then i eat crow.
MMA is so hard to predict.....
Silva (though I want sonnen to win, I have not watched him fight enough to say I think he has a chance)
Alves
Almeida, I think hughes is washed up....but we'll see.
Nelson (I haven't seen Junior fight enough, but I think he is actually the better fighter, but I have to root for nelson since i have defended him on this forum.)
Guida, no idea who the other cat is.
