Aww man, finally a Wilson trip and I'll be out of town. Oh well, I guess that's how the decomposing granite crumbles.

- Sharing trail with 10,000 other bikers, from core SS'ers to some dude on a freaking Stab...yeah, on Sully.
- Blender almost getting in fight with dude on a Maverick (highlight of the day)
I could have sworn that one of Maverick's friends called us a "Bike Gang" when Bneall and I pulled up after the incident.
Still beats sitting at home.

hahaha... naah, we weren't gonna throw down.. i pretty much pummeled the guy, coming off that little root booster and got my 2nd front flat of the day.. which made me pissed off for a second, but it was just adrenalin talkin'
he was cool, apologized (though it wasn't really anyone's fault, just a silly accident), and gave me a spare tube (if you're reading this, thanks man! i'll return the favor if i catch you on the trail again).

I can fit 1 other bike and 3 people.
830 @ JPL + screw around time and late arrivals = departure for the top at 845. 30min to the top = 915 + screw around w/ armor and bike prep of 20 mins = 935 on the pedals.
pin it and no mechanicals = ~2 hours down.
mechanicals and fear = ~ 3+ hours down.
if you need to go back up for a shuttle vehicle, count on another hour for the drive up and drive back then whatever the drive back home takes you.
i end up home by 2 or 3 pm most days (i do the drive back up to get the shuttle truck).

i got it a while back from mojo cycles for just shy of 60 bucks.....but i'm shure now you can pick them up just about anywhere. btw it is made by dakine and comes in two sizes (full size and compact pu) nice pics guys, sorry i hade to bail out on the photo-op.....will definately have to remember where that cutoff was :biggrin:
