Do any of you guys know anything about the "ventura raceway" dh trail up in ventura that was mentioned in the latest decline mag? I camp in ventura all the time and now that i know there is a dh trail lurking in those hills i am hardly content chillin on the beach eating and getting drunk

My standby rides in the SM Mountains are Sullivan Canyon and Jedi (the ridge along Sullivan fireroad).
EDIT: just saw your videos, looks like you'll probably want more DH. Jedi has some berms & jumps but its a decent pedal to the top. J-Drop would a good bet but its also quite a pedal to get to.

I've ridden sullivan canyon a ton of times, but I don't believe I've ever encountered Jedi or J-Drop, can someone PM me the start of these trails?

I'm pretty sure that Brian, Edgy, Randy, myself and others are gonna try to get up there as often as possible. Maybe every other weekend or so. Brian picked up a season pass, and I'm thinking of doing the same.

N* this weekend was epic..best conditions I've ever ridden there...slight rain makes that place perf!

Trails are about the same as last year, with some of them getting cleaned up. Expect braking bumps.
We rode Fri/Sat/Sun and found ourselves going back to our old favorite, Boondocks.
I broke my bike trying to fix it the day we did photos, so I had to hit all this stuff on a squeaky rental.
