    Post your 2011 rides!

Worth every penny. I was constantly dialing my stock DHX. It always seemed that something was being compromised. I read every tuning thread and tried every possible combo, but it never felt dialed. I got it PUSHed last season and was able to put a few days on it before the snow fell, and it...

A bit off topic, but not really. A strong YES vote for putting money into an old frame. This '05 got a nice overhaul this winter. Can't wait for summer. What's new: MX PUSH on DHX Boxxer PUSHed Pivot bearings 729s with Hadleys Fresh paint on the links and bashrings Diety direct...

pushed mx vivid vs. elka stage 5

FWIW - I emailed PUSH several times before having my fork and shock (DHX) fixed by them. They always replied very quickly with extremely thorough answers. The service happened when it was scheduled and my bike was transformed. Especially the rear shock which they gave the MX treatment. Mad...

    Have Avid Code pads changed?

I have an older set of Codes. Bought them in 2007. Are the pads universal, or do I need to find pads specific to older models? Thanks.

    Thule SideArm for fat tires

I just bought a Thule sidearm and, contrary to what the folks at the shop said, the tray does not seem to accomodate a 2.7 tire. I know, if I had done my homework, I would have read on the Thule website that the tray accommodates tires up to 2.6... well I have a 2.5 (both Nevegals) on the back...

    MBA & 'Black Diamond Riding'

Interesting discussion. I'll bite because I can't talk about riding (or lack thereof here in Vermont). IMHO, it's all silly semantical/marketing speak. I work at an ad agency. I frequently hear my clients (and co-workers) say "Let's do something viral." My response to them is always the same...

My rides, part of the Transition Family

Whoa. 175psi is a lot for a DHX. I believe Fox says 125 max.

I weigh 180 and use a 450 lb ti spring. It feels spot on. I use a lot of the bottom out also, and I seldom feel the bike blow through its travel. ˆˆHow you have your shock set is pretty important. ˆˆ
