    Totem 2-Step for light DH?

I would also like some advice on single crown fork. I'm going to use my bike in pretty much the same way as ktown.freeride. My bike is a Uzzi VPX and I'm a rather small rider (about 68kg) and I'm thinking about buying either a 66 (1 1.25") or a Totem (1.125"). My first thought was to go...

    DH Bar/Stem sizes ?

Although you are only "saving" 50g, I would still go for the "old" standard. There are no sound reasons for buying a heavier product which doesn't perform better than the lighter when you get them for the same price.

    Pedal Wieghts

Yes, the pedals that I've posted are most likely re-branded Welgo's. I must say that I'm impressed how strong these pedals are, considering the low weight. Most of my friends that ride BMX also use these and they seem to withstand most of the abuse that these guys give them. A good buy all...

    Pedal Wieghts

I don't have the numbers for thoose pedals, but I know another set of pedals that are very light and still strong. These are the NC-17 Mag and a pair of these weights ~390g (!!).

    888RC2X compression question

Do you guys have any thoughts about the airsprung 888 (SL ATA or what it's called)? I was thinking about going for this fork instead of the RC2X, to save some weight, but do you think that I'll miss that high-speed compersion? Or is the advantage of the RC2X only that you are able to tune the...

VPX quality? (Intense quality going downhill)

I've just put my Intense Uzzi VPX toghter and honestly I cannot say that the frame I bought was that shady when it arrived. Compared with my old Bighit this was, as I expected just as fine. The only problem I found was that I hade gotten a 150mm drop-out intsead of the 135mm ordered.. Guess...

    Pivots - Bushed or Bearings

There is an old post written by n10'sGuy in annother forum: "Bearing Myths! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bearing types: It has been common practice for some consumers and bike shops to change the pivot bearings to an expensive...

Big Hit Riders ( I Need Your Help)

I'm 5'8.5'' (175cm) and my medium feels big.. to big for my taste accutally, it was my first reall DH-rig and I didn't really know how I wanted the bike to feel when I bought it. If I would buy an other bighit again it would be a small.. if I anloy could turn back time :mumble:

    Azonic Samurai info?

I just found a pic of one of the "new" Azonic frame, called the Samurai FR I've been looking around on the internet trying to find some info about this frame, but all found so far is that it will come with a Romic (not the one in the picture) rear shock, have 180mm rear wheel travel and a...

    Gemini DH ISCG chainguides?

I'm going to order a Gemini DH frame, but I'm a little worried about which chainguide that will fit the frame. The thing is that I the MRP WC2 ISCG chainguide I have works very nice and doesn't so I don't really need to replace that one. But I've understod that the standard E13 will not...

Yes, but is the CPSC-standard enough for DH-racing?

E13 SRS vs. Mrp System 3?

I've been running a MRP system 2 Worldcup ISCG for two seasons now and I have only good things to say about it. Only one time have I droped the chain, but after that crash both the whole bike and me was a total mess :dead: I really like how easy the MRP is to set up, and spares are really...

    Pro-Tec helmets

Looking for a new helmet for the next season I stumbled across the Pro-tec Ace Spade fullface lid. According to their site is could be used both for "the track and the wood" and apperently it is CPSC (as stated by jensonusa.com). My question is if this helmets is good enough for DH-racing or...

    03 Dorado or Mojo'ed Boxxer?

That was really nice of them, that is also a very go reason for going Mojo, they have a very good customer service. When I was going to install my Mojo-kit I got the wrong spacers (my fault for not telling them that I had a early -03 Boxxer race). I got them three days later after mailing them...

    03 Dorado or Mojo'ed Boxxer?

When did this new cartridge come out? I bought mine in early April this year and running with the recommended oil height. Me I run it three clicks from fully slow, all according to the recommendations by the Mojo guys. It's so cool, the fork looks and fells super-slow when bouncing around on the...

Demo 8: Swinger 4-Way, good or evil?

The new Demo 8 frame seems to be perfect frame for me, not to bad for my budget, nice working linkage, low center of gravity and not to heavy. So far so good, but.. what about that Swinger 4-Way shock? I've tried the 6-Way on a Giant and it feelt super, but will I be able to get the same...
