I think that that's 'cause of the flexiness of ti. I don't think that many susmension designs function too well if the parts are flexing, so it's not a great choice for the rear end of a suspension bike that has any pivots.

Oh, online: I wouldnt buy a cue online, there's no way to tell if the cue is warped, and shippping had a high probability of warping it. Buy near where you play and if you travel alot with your cue then is the time to buy something that's wrapped in CF or fibreglass.
Online I don't know too much.
I haven't come across a CF cue that plays as well as a quality wood cue however. The shafts tend to become sticky (although newer ones can be better) and like early CF bikes they tend to feel dead.

If you break rear d's that often the only solution is to be a little more careful with your cornering. I's suggest swinging the back end a little wider (to more closely match the front tire's path) as opposed to dragging it through stuff (cutting the corner with the rear tire).

I'm pretty sure that you know it's not only a psycological advantage. Lighter wheels espically feel faster, and carry speed better on grinding climbs.
I think that we're bothe hitting the same points here actually: weight is important, but most recreational riders shouldn't blow tons of cash...
