Looks like peter wins by defaut.

If there is a cab ride involved in getting to the RV rental place, I vote that we all split that cost as part of the RV cost.

I too am in agreeance. Would it make sense for Peter to wait for Doug to synergise the competetive naturacies of two people? Didn't really mean any of that just wanted to use some of the buzz words I learnt this week.

Learnt??

Hopefully I'll be synergizing my own competitive naturacies out on my bike somewhere in PHX while Douglas is still flying in.

I definately won't be hanging around the airport from 12:00 until 7:30 waiting for him.

I probably will either get a cab or have a bud pick me up. Somehow I'll have to come back for Douglas in the evening. It may take a cab, and if so, I'm fine spliting it.

Whoaaaaa..... where's this RV place?
There's a bunch of 'em, they're all over the place... where are you gonna be? I think ghostrider is lining up an RV in Phoenix, maybe you can work together and get gentleman price on two.

No plan yet. Where is this RV place you guys found? Is it in Phoenix or Tucson? I can probably get a friend to pick me up at the airport, but that's about where I'm at from there.

I figured I'd be putting my bike together and finding a spot to ride until Douglas comes in that night.

Did a quick search and there are two Cruise america places in Pee-on-hicks.

Looks like picking up on Thursday and returning on Monday will get us this beauty for $472. I am sure there will be additional charges for mileage, Biker stink removal, water usage, LPG usage etc. With two beds it looks like there may be some spoonin' required.

with kitchen kit (plate/utensils/etc) & 4 personal kits(pillow/sheet/etc)

the price there = Total Charge $1135.86
That includes a $500 security deposit. That we could get back with no damage.
Includes insurance that we will likely void by taking it off a public road.

Use of the generator will cost and additional $3/hour.

If we go to the race on Thursday would we be able to get a good spot that won't require bumber shredding off-roading? Would you guys want to get there Thursday?

Right now my plans have me leaving Ca thursday after work.

anything else I should ask about?
Hidden charges like Water, LPG, crapper usage

Insurance: what it covers, will camping on dirt or taking it on a dirt road void it?

Pick up and return hours

Minimum # of rental days.

Well boys, it looks like there ain't gonna be a West Coast team, so I'll have to sit this one out. Have a great time and I'll look forward to the race report and photos.

Damn man. Hangin with the west coast crew is one of the highlights of my year. You should load up the little woman and Kalvin and head down there just to drink with us.

Yeah, the whole thing just sorta fell apart....Chickenhawk had to drop out for work, Kalvin can't go.....my wife will be flying back from Colorado on that thursday, and the logistics of trying to intercept her in Phoneix was getting more complicated etc etc etc. Count me in for a ride when you get back here Echo, and our guest room is always open for you guys.
