i don't like the rally version of gt4. the handling is just way too skittish because it is way too easy to drift. it seemed to be alot better in gt3.

thanks for posting -- you set a goal for this session1:14.924 is my PB at this time.
Cool , lets say the Amuse S2000 street version , any power or drivetrain mods allowed , no NOS ...... BUT Sports soft tires only ! Lets get a little drift action happening The S2000s handle great but limiting the grip will throw a curve ball into the equation. No cutting the last corner either , not that it will save much time anyway.I'm down with any of the S2000's, and that's a good course. Good call. Any restrictions?
I'll be buying the Amuse Skyline tonight to see if it handles any better than the one I used last night. Spinner, what kind of HP are you putting out?
Well said, after using the AWD version it was a whole nother ball game with this car.thanks for posting -- you set a goal for this session
Mine's Skyline GT-R N1 V-spec (R34)
1'15.982"
Amuse CarbonR (R34) '04
1'14.598"
that .598 came after many, many laps. the rwd Amuse is a MUCH, MUCH better handling car than the understeering awd Mine's model, for those who haven't tried it. it also brakes so much better that i had to mentally replot all my braking points.

Course: Deep forest normal.QUOTE]
You call the shots, it's your choice. Luckily this car is light so it should still handle well with Sport tires.
0/0/3 driving aids. camber in the -3.5/-2.8 range. race suspension 5 mm off the bumpstops, and something like 13.1 rate f/r.Well said, after using the AWD version it was a whole nother ball game with this car.
Of course you're still about two seconds fast than me right now. My best last night was 1'16.679, but I'll be putting in more laps tonight. How is your car set up?

i can pretty much guarantee that the extra top end of a stage 4 turbo will win out over na in GT4, driveability in the real world be damned...1'24.693
I chose n/a tuning instead of a turbo, was this a mistake?
I ran the tranny at 9
There I go being realistic againi can pretty much guarantee that the extra top end of a stage 4 turbo will win out over na in GT4, driveability in the real world be damned...
Halo baby.We should totally do a ridemonkey Unreal Tournament game or something.
so it turns out that there is no stage 4 option, only stage 3 turbo, and it's actually pretty driveable, in as much as a car with 450+ hp, rwd, and simulated soft street tires is.There I go being realistic again
What suspension settings are you messing with Toshi?
lowering my suspension did bad things to my curb hitting ways
It seems like increasing the camber compromised my traction too?
Halo baby.
Hey, you're in IV. Ha!
There have been several Halo threads, I just prefer to keep hijacking this one.So start a Halo thread!!!!!
Of course, I just need to find my broken XBox headset. When do you plan to be on?There have been several Halo threads, I just prefer to keep hijacking this one.
